A clear 1.5 L toiletry bag (or washbag): when travelling, you see everything at a glance. It combines marine-grade PVC, acrylic fabric from boat-cover manufacturing offcuts, UV-treated thread and a YKK zip, as on sailing gear.

Toothbrush, deodorant, small-size shampoo: you see everything without emptying it on a changing-room bench. Marine-grade PVC then wipes clean with a microfibre cloth.

How to choose your bag
The capacity
The bag holds 1.5 L in 22 × 12 × 9 cm. That is the size of a travel pouch: room for a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant and a few travel-size bottles. For a family or a long stay, plan on several.
The transparency
The clear PVC shows everything inside. It helps you forget nothing. If you would rather hide your things, slip them into a pouch.
The colour

Looking after your bag
Cleaning
Wipe the PVC and the fabric with a microfibre cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry. PVC wipes clean easily, even after a leaking bottle.
After each trip
Empty the bag when you get home, wipe the inside and leave it open to dry before putting it away.
The zip
The YKK zip is the kind used on sailing gear. Do not force it when the bag is full: close it by guiding it with your fingertips.
